This year the Father’s Day Walk for the Homeless is being held in loving and grateful memory of the late Fr.. Philip J. Cascia.  He was Chairman of the Board of the St. Vincent DePaul Mission from 1994 to 2007.  Fr. Cascia was a tireless advocate for the homeless and the poor.  We will greatly miss his leadership and his friendship.  This event is one of three that St. Vincent DePaul Mission organizes and runs on it’s own.  The other two are our Easter and Christmas mailings.  There are also other organizations that conduct fund-raisers for our benefit.  Although we do receive some Federal and State Funding, it does not cover all our costs.  And, our costs, like everyone’s, continue to rise.

Great News:   Archbishop Mansell will not only be attending the walk, but will walk a mile!

Please arrive prepared:

Bring your registration form and ALL of your sponsor money with you. All of your paper work should be completely filled out prior to arrival! (Please see The back panel of your registration form)

Wear comfortable sneakers  or walking shoes and appropriate clothing for the weather. Also, remember your sun block or umbrella!

Walk Route
You will have the option of  walking 1/2 mile to 3 or more miles  depending on your ability and  time.
